Our Story

jade-isle was founded in 2018 by a group of technology professionals who noticed a growing divide between younger and older generations when it came to digital skills. We saw grandparents struggling to video call their families, retirees unable to access online services, and older adults missing out on opportunities simply because technology felt too intimidating.

We knew that the problem wasn't capability — it was approach. Traditional computer courses moved too quickly, used confusing terminology, and didn't account for the different ways people learn later in life.

So we built something different. Our courses are designed specifically for adults who want to learn at their own pace, with instructors who understand that patience and clarity matter more than speed.
